The Innlodge is superbly situated on the eastern fringe of the City of Portsmouth, close to the junction of the A27 and A3M from London. It is close to Portsmouth's historic waterfront and Naval Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays and Continental Ferry Port. The Lodge boasts spacious fully equipped en-suite bedrooms, a modern relaxing lounge restaurant and a Hungry Horse Pub with a well equipped over 18's sports bar and children’s large indoor soft play centre; The Pony Club. Height restrictions apply please call for details. This is a busy hotel which hosts functions most weekends and often throughout the week. If you require a quiet room please request it at your time of booking. Functions at weekends often finish at 1am. Due to some large private functions taking place in the Hotel, The Lounge restaurant will be closed throughout December, however the Farmhouse restaurant will be open as normal. The nearest town is Havant, which is one and a half miles from us, and is a £5 taxi journey; Portsmouth and its ferry terminal is located just 20 minutes drive away, depending on traffic. Prices include a hot breakfast, and vegetarians are catered for. We do not serve evening meals but guests are welcome to use our microwave or have takeaway meals delivered. Evening meals are available from a nearby Harvester restaurant and bar, seven minutes walk. Guests can walk to the picturesque village of Rowlands Castle via a bridle path and visit 3 pubs with resturants and village tea room.

Many of the restaurants and pubs serve locally caught fish and the Lifeboat Inn even has its own boat. Here in Selsey we are surrounded on three sides by the sea and it is only about a 15 minute walk from our accommodation to reach the beach. There is a selection of places to eat within a short walking distance. We are 7 miles south of the historic city of Chichester close to the sea and the Sussex countryside and an ideal location for visiting the many delights Sussex and Hampshire have to offer. We have a 4 star grading with Visit Britain and the AA. Our Hotel accommodation consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms 5 on the first floor and 5 ground floor garden rooms. The garden rooms are ideal for those unable to manage the stairs or if you wish to bring your dog with you on holiday. We also have a wheelchair accessible room The licensed bar opens on to our large secluded gardens. Ideal for a relaxing drink on a summer evening. We also have a large comfortable sitting room. The house is completely non-smoking but you are able to smoke in the garden. Free wifi available in many of the bedrooms and all the public rooms. Set in the South Downs close to Chichester, surrounded by historic places such as Uppark and Adsdean House, Lordington Manor, Racton Ruins, Goodwood and slightly further afield Petworth House, Arundel Castle, Portsmouth Docks with the Spinnaker Tower. Built in 1907 Grandwood House was originally a lodge house belonging to Watergate House which was accidentally burnt down by troops during the 2nd World War. Set in the heart of the South Downs it is only a short walk away from the local pub in nearby Walderton which serves lunches and evening meals. Large security gates leading on to a tarmac driveway ensures secure parking at all times. All rooms are en suite with some being double aspect. All are centrally heated and can be either twin or double occupancy with views to either the garden, open farmland or both. All rooms are non-smoking and have tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have TV with DVD player and wireless internet connection.
