We are from the ‘Pizza Kitchen & Bar’ concept, (part of Orchid Pubs & Dining), serving 100% fresh dough pizzas prepared in front of you in our open kitchen and pizza oven. As well as this fantastic 'Pizza Kitchen & Bar' menu, we also serve the best cocktails in town! Ian H Durrant has been General Manager at the Red Lion Hotel for nearly four years now. Managing pubs for the last twenty odd years, he is very happy here and states that is one of the best times in his lengthy career! The Red Lion Hotel has been here many years and allegedly was a place where court proceedings were held. Local crimes were judged by officials with the offenders meeting their fate from the gallows opposite the pub! We are within easy reach of the cross- channel ferries and just three miles west from the bottom of the A3(M) and just north of M27 J12 (Hilsea). The pub is an ideal base for visiting the wealth of maritime heritage such as the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warier on the south coast. The sea air gives our visitors an appetite - so you'll appreciate our value for money meals, which can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment. Brighton; Southampton; Winchester and Salisbury are all within realistic travelling for simple day trips away whilst staying at the Red Lion. People visiting the area can stay the night here with 16 en-suite rooms available. Wifi is available in all areas including the hotel rooms. We re-opened in February 2014 following a full refurbishment & re-branding to Pizza Kitchen & Bar. Watch you're delicious pizza being freshly made in our exhibition kitchen. St Andrews Lodge is licensed Guest Accommodation situated in the old seaside town of Selsey. Selsey has always been a fishing village and we still have a fleet of fishing boats. Many of the restaurants and pubs serve locally caught fish and the Lifeboat Inn even has its own boat. Here in Selsey we are surrounded on three sides by the sea and it is only about a 15 minute walk from our accommodation to reach the beach. There is a selection of places to eat within a short walking distance. We are 7 miles south of the historic city of Chichester close to the sea and the Sussex countryside and an ideal location for visiting the many delights Sussex and Hampshire have to offer. We have a 4 star grading with Visit Britain and the AA. Our Hotel accommodation consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms 5 on the first floor and 5 ground floor garden rooms. The garden rooms are ideal for those unable to manage the stairs or if you wish to bring your dog with you on holiday.
