Largs counting down to Laser Radial World Championships

Largs SC on the Clyde estuary is making final preparations to stage the biggest and most significant sailing championship ever run in Scotland when they play host to nearly 600 competitors from 58 different countries at the Laser Radial World Championships.

Memories made and lessons learned in Largs

As Largs takes centre stage when the Laser Radial World Championships begin on July 6th, there will be two main world titles at stake, for Men and Women in the Olympic single-hander class.

Olympic champion Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) will compete in Largs.

The reigning Laser Radial Olympic gold medallist Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) will give British-based family members and friends their first chance to cheer her on, and to celebrate the talents which saw her win the Olympic title in Qingdao

Coach Boat Registration

There will be a Coach Fee for each Laser Worlds event at the championships, the Fee will be 80 English pounds and covers the cost of launching and recovery of the boat, mooring for the week, use of the Club facilities, coach food and drink tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies and the mid week party.....

The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) has won the right to bring the four regattas comprising the Laser World Championships to Great Britain in 2010.
