RYA - Zone Championships.

Classes to be sailed are: Optimist, Topper, Cadet, Mirror, Laser 4.7 and Regatta Fleet for Optimists, Teras and Toppers.

E/SE Windsurfers & E/SE RS Feva XL should enter the South East Zone Champs at Queen Mary SC.

Regatta Fleet Racing

The regatta fleet racing at the East Zone Championships is open to less experienced club sailors in Optimists and Toppers who are learning how to race. The racing will be organised by local coaches and run on an informal basis, starting at around the same time as the main fleets, on both days. The coaches will brief the regatta fleet sailors on the format for the day, immediately after the main competitor briefing on Saturday.

The Zone Championships is a great event for the young sailors but can also be an experience for the parents. This year the East will be the biggest event of all the 9 championships, we will need lots of volunteers.
